Montrose

 Yesterday on the way to Montrose we had to take a slight detour.  The police had the bridge (Route 66) leading into Encanto Park blocked off.

Monroe Truck Trail

 I did something different today. I left the road bike at home and took my Rock Lobster Gravel bike out instead.  I met up with Gregory M, Melissa P, Jessica G, Ryan G, AJ and John K at the base of Monroe Truck Trail (MTT). From there we headed up to the top. I rode down GMR while they headed back down on the trail.  

I ran 43c Gravel Kings with a 11-34t cassette and 34/50t chainrings.  This setup was totally fine for the MTT.

 Wednesday Night Shack and Back is BACK! 5:30 pm Wednesday nights at the corner of GMR and Sierra Madre.

Two Wheel Tuesday

I had a lot of fun on last night's Two Wheel Tuesday (2WT) ride.  We met up at LaVerne Brewery at 6:30 pm and headed out around Bonelli.  Montgomery turned up the heat on both Cannon Ave and up to Padua Theater.  

I had a good talk with Scott D on the way back home.  It's always nice meeting other cycling enthusiast.

On the way home I got to meet CAMACHO for the first time.  Camacho is a STRAVA friend I've never met until last night.
