Some fast folks showed up to 2WT today and pretty much dominated all the hills. Cannon Ave., Live Oak and Padua were all but lost to the fasted of the bunch but it was fun chasing them. Thanks for everyone who showed up for the pain.

Crystal Lake to Mt Baldy
Monday we set out to ride up to Crystal Lake and then back home. Once we got up to the Crystal Lake Cafe Attila was pushing us to ride up to Hwy 39 and then to Dawson's Saddle. After Dawson's Saddle, he wanted to head to La Cañada and ultimately complete the Circle of Doom route. I didn't have it in me but made to the call to my wife to let her know my ride it going to be longer than usual. Fortunately/Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get a hold of my wife, so Warren and I decided to head home. Warren wanted to ride back home via East Fork to Mt Baldy. It was a hard ride and a ton of climbing but we did it. It was a hard day, but with Warren's encouragement, I was able to complete the ride.

Family Hike
Today we did a small hike up Marshall Canyon. Just up to the swing my kids love so much. Under the cover of trees the temperature was nice and cool.

GMR, good times and a blow out
Riding up GMR was nice and it's always a hustle from the Gate to Shack. Along the way we met some old and new friends. At the village, I had a rear blow out. It was totally my fault for not using correct rim tape on my rear wheel.

Broken Spoke, Rose Bowl and FTL Spacecrafts
Broken spoke, no problem. Warren Peace wouldn't let me call an Uber to take me home. A quick road side repair and we were off to the Rose Bowl. Overall the ride was tame, but when I got home, I had to take a nap. I guess old age is setting in. Thanks to everyone who came along for the ride today. I am glad I was able to educate everyone on FTL (Faster Than Light) Spacecrafts and Tardis.
