I was surfing the web the other day and I came across this picture of Francesco Moser. And who does this instantly remind me of ... none other than Michael @ CLR Effect. Ha! Pretty cool dude!
Michael has been pretty busy this year with race, and new product reports. Visit him at Centerlinerule.blogspot.com/

What It Is
A bike train is an organized group made up of children and adults who ride their bikes to and from school along an established route.
Bike-Train Benefits
According to the advocacy group Safe Routes to School (SRTS), kids who bike or walk to school are more likely to maintain a healthy weight and blood pressure. Other benefits include improved mental health, better academic performance, and less car congestion near schools, which is not only safer, it’s also better for the environment. Still, some parents are reluctant to let their child ride to school on their own, says April Economides, a sustainability consultant who speaks around the country about creating bike-friendly communities. “A bike train is a good solution since chaperones are involved and it provides safety in numbers,” she says.

Glendora Mountain Road with Oscar M
Every Tuesday, I try to ride Glendora Mountain Road after work. This past week I met Oscar and his group of friends.
Oscar and I exchanged numbers and Saturday we decided on a ride to Mt Baldy. Oscar is not only a great guy, he is also a strong rider.
We rode GMR to the base of the switchbacks up Mt Baldy.

Riding with Team Velocity
This Saturday I did something different. Michael, Kevin and I decided to ride down to Fullerton and meet up with Team Velocity.
The air was hot, and humid. The ride was fast. I had a great time.
