Glendora Mountain Road - Fixed

Uninspired. I was hoping for rain this morning.  I didn't want to ride, I haven't ridden much these past few weeks.  Sure, I attempted GMR twice during the Thanksgiving Weekend but those rides were small compared to my epic Saturday rides to... to, wherever.

At home, my roller workouts are few and when I do manage to get on the rollers, I can't wait until my workout is over.

I'm not sure whats going on but I've been feeling a bit uninspired when it comes to riding.

So last night I was hoping for rain.  It didn't rain, its 12:05 pm and its still not raining.

I woke up at about 2 am this morning and tossed and turned until my alarm went off at 4:50 am.  Well, I can't hear rain and I'm awake.  I might as well start the motions.  Coffee is made, gear and bike are ready to go.  Cereal for breakfast and my morning constitutional, it's still not raining, so I guess I have to ride.

6 am, I left the house.

The ride to the base of GMR happened.  No hammer-fest, no great pace, I just turned the pedals and eventually got there. I stopped after the first climb and just past Dalton Road.  I was breathing hard, yep this ride is going to suck.

Turning circles, and circles, and circle, finally I made it to the first saddle.  After the first saddle I finally got my groove and it was a breeze to East Fork and GRR.  I stopped and snapped a few photos then decided to head back down.  Today is not a Baldy day.

Ahhh, a nice cold beer on a cold semi-damp day.  Hmmm, I think I have a few beers left over from Thanksgiving.

(I was actually disappointed in the amount of trash I saw while riding up GMR.  It was worse than usual.  I was also majorly bummed by the graffiti.)
