Ride a bike, share your experience and love. When I go biking, I repeat a mantra of the day's sensations: bright sun, blue sky, warm breeze, blue jay's call, ice melting and so on. This helps me transcend the traffic, ignore the clamorings of work, leave all the mind theaters behind and focus on nature instead. I still must abide by the rules of the road, of biking, of gravity. But I am mentally far away from civilization. The world is breaking someone else's heart. ~Diane Ackerman

Last night I headed to Old Town Pomona to meet up with Mobbin Mondays. MM hosted a crit, "Bragging Right Crit," as a warm up to tomorrows race in China Town. Last nights crit took us around Fairplex. It was so much fun and I can't wait for next Mondays ride!

Looks like you won a sprint in that top photo. Bummer, I didn't get your text until the next morning.
It was a lot of fun. It was so dark you could hardly see, fast paced, had to watch out for sudden and random skids into turns.
I felt like the old guy, as the group was rowdier than I am used to.
I dropped the guy in the picture in during the first lap and hung with some other for the rest of the race.
The guy who won works at Coates! He smoked us all!
